FAQ

How do I receive the prescription?

If clinically appropriate, your prescription is delivered electronically to your email and becomes available in your OGPx account as a downloadable PDF. It also includes a verification QR code you can show if asked.

Is this a ‘medical card’?

A medical record (EHR) is created automatically and stored in our database; you don’t need to show it anywhere — only the P.T.33 prescription must be presented when required.

Is an electronic prescription valid?

Yes. The electronic prescription is fully legal and complies with Thai telemedicine requirements and the P.T.33 form. It is issued by a licensed Thai traditional medicine doctor. The prescription includes a verification QR code that links to a status page backed by our database, where you can verify the prescription status and view doctor license scans.

What if I’m not clinically eligible?

If a doctor determines a prescription is not clinically appropriate, we do not issue it. The clinical review is free — payment is required only for doctor‑approved prescriptions.

Cannabis regulation in Thailand

Thailand currently operates under a medical-only cannabis framework under a Ministry of Public Health announcement published in the Royal Gazette (Vol. 142, Special Part 229 Ng, 25 June 2025) and effective from 26 June 2025. Recreational use is prohibited. Buying, possessing, and carrying cannabis is allowed for patients with a valid medical prescription (including tourists — but the prescription must be issued by a Thai licensed practitioner, typically using the P.T.33 form).

Do foreign medical documents work in Thailand?

Typically, Thailand expects a Thai medical prescription on the P.T.33 form. However, because enforcement can be relatively relaxed, a foreign prescription may still be accepted — at least at a shop.

Will this guarantee I can carry cannabis on every flight?

Within Thailand, yes: a medical prescription is generally sufficient for domestic travel (including domestic flights). But this does not cover international travel — always check the entry rules of your destination country and required documents before you fly.

Do I need to print the prescription?

Not necessarily. In Thailand, shops and officials are generally comfortable accepting scanned documents shown on your phone — whether it's a passport, visa, or medical prescription. So a digital copy on your device is usually enough.
